Participants will learn:

  • 1.   That no school system will ever have the financial ability to provide one-to-one daily tutoring for the 10-15 percent of the student population that need one-to-one.

  • 2.  That most parents will never have the financial ability to hire private tutors to provide the DAILY one-to-one tutoring that their children may require.

  • 3.   That most parents can learn to acquire the patience and the teaching skills necessary to be successful tutors of their children.

  • 4.   That even if most parents cannot learn to acquire the patience and the teaching skills necessary to be successful tutors of their children, the MINORITY would can learn to tutor their children have RIGHTS, too.  If we have adult education course for the small minority who want to learn flower arrangement, cake decorating, belly dancing, bridge, typing, etc., we should have courses for the MINORITY who want to learn how to help their own children learn to read and write.

Participants will receive  special AVKO handouts that will:

  • 1.  enable them to establish an Adult Community Education Course without upsetting the teachers and the educational establishment.

The AVKO Challenge and Guarantee

Participants may watch a demonstration in which a student (or students) of their choice learn to spell a difficult word such as scattered, psychology, or malicious.  Your choice!   They will learn to spell whichever word they select without once seeing the word, without studying the word, without writing it seven times.  This is guaranteed.  If Don McCabe cannot get the students you selected to do this, AVKO will refund the entire cost of the inservice.
