Basic Short Phrases

You may download these.  Make them flash card size. Print them out.  Then change the font from the Aerial to Times Roman.  Print them out.  Change the fonts to a cursive font.  Print them out.  Change the fonts to ALL UPPER CASE and print them out.

Please be sure to have the word "a" pronounced correctly as "uh."  Do NOT rhyme it with day.

Also, when you get to the phrases that use "have to" pronounce it as "hafta."

And when you get to the phrases that use "used to" pronounce it as "yoo stuh."  Only in a phrase such as "Oil is used to lubricate..." do we ever pronounced "used to" as "yooz'd too""
