What is the AVKO Educational Research Foundation?

AVKO is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(C)3 membership organization-
Founded in 1974.
Subsidized by donations, sales of educational materials, workshops, and occasional grants.
Operates a Reading Clinic that offers free daily tutoring. For more information on its FREE tutoring, click here.
Operates the Bernice Webb Memorial Library open to the public.
Staffed 90% by volunteers.
Develops materials & techniques based on practical research. To view its catalog of materials, click here.

Because it has achieved its mission, AVKO would like to go out of existence in less than 10 years by selling its publishing rights to publisher (See Prospectus for Publishers) and leave its assets to another non-profit, tax-exempt 501(C)3 organization.
